AJI

Aji is a spicy sauce that often contains tomatoes, cilantro, hot peppers, and onions. It usually accompanies other foods such as Chugchucaras or Empanadas.

In South America they call most peppers aji, and most of them are members of the species, Capsicum baccatum, which is

Aji is also a Horse mackerel, a shining tane, treated with salt and vinegar. Also served raw with minced green onions and grated ginger.
